Love the arts? Cincinnati ranked a top town for Creatives!

Workshop GarageIf you love the arts and creating new things, you’re in the right place.

Cincinnati was ranked one of the 10 most creative cities in the nation by real estate blog Movoto!

The Queen City came in at No. 8 on the list partly because it’s No. 9 in the nation for number of galleries and No. 1 for number of art supply stores per capita.

But the high scores didn’t stop there. Cincinnati is No. 9 for performing arts that call the city home and No. 8 for most music stores and instructors along with most colleges per capita.

Creatives in Cincinnati looking for employment are also in luck!

Movoto says the fact that 12 percent of workers here are employed in arts and entertainment means there’s plenty of room for growth!

Other criteria included in the ranking were art schools and programs per capita (No. 24), book stores per capita (No. 14) and Facebook likes for “arts and music” per capita (No. 35). To see the full list of the nation’s most creative cities, click here.
