On Saturday, January 29th at 10:00 a.m., Cincinnati Preservation Association (CPA) will present “Little Known Jewels of the West Side,” an overview of hidden historic treasures of Cincinnati’s West Side neighborhoods, presented by Dave Zelman, AIA. The program will be held at the John Hauck House, 812 Dayton Street, West End. Reservations are required due to limited space. Contact CPA at 513-721-4506 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Admission is $5.00.
Here’s what the CPA has to say “Cincinnati’s West Side neighborhoods are full of wonders that delight the eye. Take this eye-opening PowerPoint “tour” and discover amazing buildings and out-of-the-way neighborhoods you’ve never seen before. From monumental stone houses to quaint little churches, from Greek Revival temples to Modernist homes, these treasures inspire neighborhood pride. East Side, West Side, downtown, Kentucky, we know you’ll enjoy this informative and entertaining program.”
Little Known Jewels of the West Side is CPA’s first event of 2011 at the Hauck House. Just to see this beautiful Italianate stone townhouse on “Millionaire’s Row” is worth the trip!
